Soil nailing
Soil nailing is used for retention of excavated or natural slopes or for remediations of retaining walls.
The tendors (bars) are inserted into a small-diameter drilled holes filled with cement grout. Their heads are connected with the reinforcement of drained shot-crete, which will cover the excavation/wall/slope. The nails address the global slope stability and the shot-crete provides the surfical stability.
Soil nailing can be designed and executed as either as temporary or permanent.
